This is one of the last mechanical aircraft clock done. Lastest aviation clocks uses movement by Valjoux , the 551 (a chronograph clock named type 11) and Valjoux 555 (a chronograph with flyback function named Type 12).

it was used by 4 brands Sinn, Breguet, Dodane and Mathey Tissot, and after this movement, the next generation built was battery operated and electronic cockpit clock.

This Mathey Tissot Type 12 has 17 jewels and one barrel supplying power for one day, the flyback function (left hand pusher), allows to stop the chrono and start again not from cero from the before measured time. The center pusher starts the crono in the first push , next push stops the chrono and the third reset it to cero.

Right hand knob allows the center knob to use it to set the time and to wind the clock.
